You see the doors on the same side. This is how most of the homes are sold. I have had many folks put in a patio door instead of the rear door. All the models offer a flip which is essentially doors on the same side of the home. The first question that we ask people who are considering a door is if they want the doors on the same side of the home or the opposite side. Many people then build a deck between the two doors. One drawback of doing that is if you have a dog that needs to go outside, you pretty much have to put them out the front door in the winter. Patio doors are not generally designed to be used in the winter.
The home has a big island that is standard.
