I have two people that I recommend for mobile home insurance. Andy Lehr of Farmers Insurance Group. Andy is not able to insure all mobile and manufactured homes. He has some restrictions. My advice is to call him. His information is below Bob Duchscherer can insure all mobile and manufactured homes. He has virtually no exclusions. His information is below.
Andrew (Andy) Lehr Phone:701-361-4249 I strongly recommend Andy for ANY of your insurance needs. Andy has been a friend of the manufactured and mobile home community for many years. Andy made many manufactured home loans with Quality Bank of Fingal. (He drove over 40 miles to work each day. Try and do that with a new set of twins.) He truly treated all his customers at Quality Bank with the greatest respect and care. I know that he will give that same care and quality service to his insurance clients. I want to emphasize something. I am not receiving any commission or any compensation for this recommendation. I truly want my friends and customers to be treated the way that I know that Andy will treat his customers. Give him a chance with any of your insurance needs. I am sure that you won't go wrong. Thank you. Paul Nelson

Bob was sales manager of Liechty Homes in Jamestown for over 30 years. I have always found him to be a honest salesperson. He has always treated his customers with the greatest care and respect. He SPECIALIZES in mobile and manufactured home insurance. It is all he does. He is located in Jamestown but he will insure your home no matter where it is in North Dakota.
If you call the above number, they can give you a quote.
Below is a observation about State Farm Insurance. We do not suggest that you use State Farm for manufactured home insurance. It is not that we have been treated badly by them or have an axe to grind with them. It has nothing to do with how they pay or anything like that. The only reason that I cannot recommend State Farm is that they require a lot of inspections before they will insure a manufactured home. I don't know exactly what inspections they require but I think that it is heating, electrical, etc. This can cost quite a little money even IF you could find someone to do it. They are the only insurance company that I know of that requires the inspections. Again, I repeat, my problem with them has nothing to do with the payment of claims or any other reason other than the inspections. If this is not the case, please let me know and I will remove this recommendation.
