If you want to discuss moving your home into one of the parks, please call me. I can give you suggestions as to movers, incidental costs that you will run into, and general questions about the parks. I want you to be totally satisfied with your move onto your new lot. People ask me all the time if there are any lots for sale that a manufactured home can be put on. Frankly, I don't know of any. There are some in small towns at least 30 miles out of Fargo but none that I am aware of closer. I actually don't know of any even 30 miles out but I am sure if you go to those towns and ask the bartender if he(she) knows of any lots that are for sale, he would know. Bartenders know everything about small town. Fargo Brookwood, Countryside (701-282-2961), and Riviera Heights (701-293-1000). If you are considering moving your home into Fargo or West Fargo, they may help with financing in a move for you. Talk to Butch. He will take care of you. Buena Vista and Meadowpark. (701-282-0034). Call Joe Amundson. He is an excellent park manager. I cannot recommend Selkirk Settlement (it floods) and Edgewood MHP (reasons beyond my scope to discuss). I like both of the owners of these two parks personally, I just cannot recommend their parks. Moorhead The only park that I can recommend is Regal Estates. 218-236-1851. Talk to Jennifer. She will take care of you. Grand Forks Columbia Heights and Presidents 2 parks will pay a certain amount for the moving of your home into their parks. That is a nice incentive. Northwood ND Northwood is 35 miles SW of Grand Forks (Go 25 mi. west of I-29 on #15 at the Thompson exit (#130)). Park rent is $150.00 with some free rent and also they will pay some of your moving costs. Go to the link below for contact information and other information. http://www.discovernorthwood.com/housing.htm Discussion in the future. Why is lot rent so high? I will discuss why lot rent is as high as it is in Fargo, Grand Forks, etc and why it is cheaper in smaller towns. How much does lot rent go up ? How often does it go up? What are the advantages and disadvantages of each park. Which park would be right for my family?
