Thank you Canadian shoppers for considering us for a home. We really appreciate you. However, I do not believe that we can help you. Homes for Canada have to be built for CSA standards. Homes for the US are built to HUD standards. The are a few differences. There are at least 2 factories in Minnesota that build CSA homes. They are Detroiter out of Red Lake Falls, MN and Friendship Homes out of Montevideo, MN. They have dealers in Canada. There are at least 2 major differences for the 2 homes. One is the electric wiring and the other is Snow Load. Most of the Canadian homes have an electric furnace. US homes primarily have a gas furnace. This only touches the surface of the differences. The websites of the two factories are www.detroiter.com and www.friendshiphomesmn.com/ . The Canadian standard features are at http://www.fairmontserver.com/shared/friendship/PDF/Z-240%20Sectional%20Standards.pdf You can look at the US standards and the Canadian standards to see the differences. Please understand that I am not trying to be rude but I am not going to take any more calls or answer any questions about Canadian home sales. I do not wish to be a part of it. I do not believe that I can provide any assurances that a US home will work in Canada. I will not be returning any phone calls to Canada. Again, I am sorry to be so frank. It is a part of the business that I would like to walk away from. It is clearly beyond the scope of our business to sell a home in Canada. Thank you for your understanding. Paul Nelson
